This 4-day camping safari is a great way to experience three of Tanzania’s most famous national parks on a budget. You’ll visit Lake Manyara with its tree-climbing lions, the open plains of the Serengeti, and the wildlife-rich Ngorongoro Crater. Nights are spent in tents at public campsites, giving you a real feel of the African wilderness while still enjoying hot meals and guided game drives.

Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park. It’s a small but beautiful park with diverse animals including elephants, giraffes, baboons, and tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a game drive and picnic lunch. In the evening, head to your campsite for dinner and rest.

Day 2: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, travel through the Ngorongoro highlands to Serengeti National Park. You’ll stop for wildlife viewing along the way and enjoy a game drive in the afternoon.

Day 3: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Start the day with an early morning game drive in the Serengeti. After breakfast, continue with another drive as you head toward Ngorongoro. You’ll arrive at the campsite on the crater rim in the evening.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater is home to a variety of animals including rhinos, lions, and hippos. After lunch, drive back to Arusha where your safari ends.
Drop-off at your hotel or airport.
