This 5-day camping safari gives you the chance to explore three of Tanzania’s most popular wildlife parks. You’ll visit the elephant-rich Tarangire, the vast plains of Serengeti, and the wildlife-filled Ngorongoro Crater. It’s a great way to enjoy an authentic adventure on a reasonable budget. Nights are spent in tents at public campsites, with a guide and a cook to take care of you throughout the journey.
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Leave Arusha after breakfast and head to Tarangire National Park. It’s famous for its large herds of elephants and unique baobab trees. After a full-day game drive and picnic lunch, head to your campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, drive through the highlands and enter the Serengeti. Enjoy an afternoon game drive as you look out for lions, leopards, zebras, and more.

Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti
Spend the day exploring the Serengeti. You’ll take game drives in different areas depending on wildlife movement. Look for big cats, wildebeests, elephants, giraffes, and other animals.

Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Have an early breakfast and enjoy a morning game drive as you leave the Serengeti. Drive toward Ngorongoro and arrive at the crater rim in the evening.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. This area has a high chance of spotting the Big Five. Enjoy lunch at a picnic spot before heading back to Arusha.
