This 8-day extended camping safari covers five of Tanzania’s most famous destinations. From spotting elephants in Tarangire and birdlife in Lake Manyara to tracking big cats in the Serengeti and exploring the Ngorongoro Crater — each park offers something special. You’ll also visit Lake Eyasi to learn about the local Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. The safari includes full camping gear, a personal guide and cook, and private transport throughout the trip.
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Drive to Tarangire National Park after breakfast. Enjoy a game drive with chances to see elephants, lions, giraffes, and more.

Day 2: Tarangire – Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, travel to Lake Manyara. This small but diverse park is home to hippos, baboons, and sometimes tree-climbing lions.

Day 3: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park
Drive toward Serengeti through the Ngorongoro highlands. Along the way, enjoy wildlife sightings before arriving in Serengeti for an afternoon game drive.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti
Spend the day exploring Serengeti’s wide plains. You may see wildebeest, zebras, lions, cheetahs, and more.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Enjoy a morning game drive, then start heading to Ngorongoro. Expect more game viewing on the way.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Lake Eyasi
After early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. After lunch, drive to Lake Eyasi.

Day 7: Lake Eyasi Cultural Visit – Karatu
Spend the morning with the Hadzabe tribe—one of Tanzania’s last remaining hunter-gatherers. Visit also the Datoga blacksmiths. Afterward, drive to Karatu.

Day 8: Karatu – Arusha
After breakfast, return to Arusha with drop-off at your hotel or airport.
