This day trip takes you to Materuni Village, just outside Moshi, at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. It’s a great spot for nature lovers and those who enjoy learning about local traditions. You’ll visit the Materuni Waterfall, walk through lush green trails, and take part in a Chagga coffee-making experience—from bean to cup.

It’s a relaxing day with fresh air, cool mountain views, and a chance to see how Tanzanian coffee is grown and processed by local farmers.

• 07:30 AM – Pick-up from your hotel in Arusha and drive to Materuni Village (about 2.5 hours)

• 10:00 AM – Arrive at Materuni, start the short hike to the waterfall with a local guide
