This 6-day safari is designed to follow one of the most exciting wildlife events in Africa—the Great Wildebeest Migration. You’ll explore both Central and Northern Serengeti, where thousands of animals move across the plains and rivers in search of water and grass. You’ll also visit the Ngorongoro Crater, home to a wide variety of animals, including rhinos, lions, and elephants. With a private guide and well-selected lodges, this trip offers a close and comfortable way to enjoy nature and wildlife.

Day 1: Arusha – Central Serengeti
You will be picked up in Arusha and fly or drive to Central Serengeti. After lunch, go on your first game drive. This area is known for lions, cheetahs, elephants, and many other animals.

Day 2: Full Day in Central Serengeti
Enjoy a full day exploring Central Serengeti. Your guide will take you to areas where wildlife is active. Watch out for herds of wildebeest, zebras, and predators like lions and leopards.

Day 3: Central – Northern Serengeti
After breakfast, drive or take a short flight to Northern Serengeti. This region is best known for the river crossings during the migration season, especially between July and October.

Day 4: Full Day in Northern Serengeti
Spend the day following the migration paths along the Mara River. You might see wildebeest crossing the river, chased by crocodiles or watched by big cats.

Day 5: Northern Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Leave Northern Serengeti and begin the journey to Ngorongoro. Enjoy a game drive on the way. Arrive at your lodge in the evening and rest.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Early in the morning, descend into the crater for a game drive. The crater floor is full of wildlife including black rhinos, buffalos, hyenas, and lions. After lunch, return to Arusha. Drop-off at your hotel or airport.
